Trump Approval Split; Republicans Hold Slight Lead on Generic Ballot
President Trump’s approval is one-to-one nationwide at 48% approve, 48% disapprove. On a generic 2026 congressional ballot, Republicans hold a 2 point lead.

Government Waste & Fraud
Two thirds of voters believe government spending includes a large amount of financial waste or fraud, and the vast majority (79%) support initiatives to weed it out of government spending.

A slight majority support efforts to identify and eliminate waste through DOGE, and nearly twice as many Americans trust Elon Musk and his team to address government waste compared to Congress or federal employees.

Eliminating FEMA For Illegal Aliens
A majority support eliminating FEMA funds going toward housing illegal immigrants, which even draws support from quarter of Democrats and liberals.

USAID
More than half (57%) oppose USAID’s funding of social initiatives, and 72% of Americans say foreign assistance should be paused and reviewed or stopped altogether.

 


 

This nationwide survey of 2,063 likely general election voters was conducted between February 13 and February 17, 2025, using mobile text responses and landline telephone interviews. It is balanced by the age, gender, education level, race, region, and self-reported party of the true voting population and has a margin of error of +/- 3.36%.
