Tax Cuts
The majority of Americans support cutting the corporate tax rate for corporations manufacturing in the United States, although there is almost an even split among those who say such cuts will help or hurt the economy. Meanwhile, nearly half of the country supports extending the 2017 income tax cuts.

Tariffs
Americans generally support tariffs, especially against China, where support reaches 55%.

Despite being more supportive of tariffs overall, voters also feel they’ll lead to higher prices. This includes a majority of independents, and majorities of voters in the Northeast, West, and Midwest.

Energy
Increasing energy production and independence is widely supported, with nearly six in ten Americans supporting streamlining the permit process for energy production and most of the country favoring President Trump’s plan to expand oil and gas drilling and rescind electric vehicle mandates.

Regulations
Americans recognize the negative effects of government regulations on small businesses and overwhelmingly support regulation reductions.
